Sustainability Steering Committee
Guiding sustainability coordination and cross-faculty engagement.
The Sustainability Steering Committee brings together academic and institutional representatives from across the University of Hafr Al Batin to guide sustainability coordination, strengthen cross-faculty engagement, and support implementation across academic and operational areas.
Committee Overview
The committee is chaired by the Director of UHB Excellence HUB and includes representatives from all colleges and key academic units across the university. Members support coordination, implementation, and faculty-level participation in sustainability and global recognition work.
Committee Responsibilities
Coordinating sustainability implementation across all colleges and units
Supporting faculty-level engagement in sustainability programs and initiatives
Providing input on sustainability strategy and action plans
Facilitating communication between the HUB and academic departments
Promoting sustainability awareness among students and staff
Reporting college-level sustainability activities to the Sustainability Board
