Committee Mandate — Four Pillars

Equal Treatment for All

The committee works to ensure that no student or staff member receives less favorable treatment on the basis of gender, nationality, disability, religion, age, or any other personal characteristic. Institutional practices are reviewed regularly to identify and reduce inequities.

Student Wellbeing Oversight

The committee coordinates with counseling, health, and academic support services to promote student wellbeing and equitable access to services. Wellbeing is treated as a core part of successful participation in university life.

Complaints & Grievance Handling

A formal and confidential channel is available for complaints related to discrimination, harassment, or unfair treatment. Complaints are reviewed impartially, handled with sensitivity, and responded to within a defined process.

Disability Inclusion

In collaboration with the Disability Support Office, the committee supports campus accessibility, accommodation measures, specialist services, and inclusive practices that help students with disabilities participate fully in academic and campus life.
